When I let my imagination off the leash, it is usually in the form of the written word, and the fruits of those efforts are on view at a number of locations. At present, just about everything that is current can be found at The Dragonscape Project. Two projects are currently in progress at this site: Starbreaker and Danger Island!

-o Starbreaker o-

STARBREAKER, previously operating under the title of WildQuest, is a tale of dark forces menacing an unsuspecting world, much like our own but in the depths of a cultural upheaval as the young embrace love and free will. Inspired by Wendy and Richard Pini's excellent comic-book series ElfQuest, STARBREAKER features a band of elves, fighting to protect their world from alien conquerors, whilst trying to avoid the attentions of inquisitive humans, whose intentions seem just as ominous.

The true magnitude of the threat is yet to be fully explored, but events are moving towards a fuller revelation. As is typical for these projects, I have an alter-ego of sorts in the form of wild elven artist Snakesleek - wishful thinking, I suppose. :-)

The STARBREAKER setting has also featured in stories at deviantART.com - links coming soon!

-o Danger Island! o-

Originating at Yahoo!, Danger Island! is hot-blooded superheroics in the exotic surroundings of the Indian Ocean, centring on Katira Island, an exclusive resort that serves as a playground for the rich and famous - some of whom have superhuman friends and companions. The lead characters are Mysty Midnight, an athletic and ageless Indian beauty with a mysterious benefactor, and Obsidian, a rather unconventional young man on the outside, all dragon on the inside (yes, another alter-ego, this time a good bit closer to home). Obsidian is a founder member of The Circle Of Legends, a group of legendary creatures who have chosen to interact with modern human society, another of whom just happens to be Mysty's as-yet-unseen "Mistress".

Changes are in the pipeline for Danger Island!, as will become clear (hopefully) in the near future.

-o The Phantasia o-

The Phantasia is another project with a decent amount of material online, although it has not been added to recently. This happens, I must reluctantly admit, but there is always the chance that this may be revitalised, given my interest in cross-overs. I had a lot of fun writing these stories - how much fun, I'll leave to your imaginations as you read the adventures of the lovely and mysterious Raven and her fellow dancers...
